Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit

Is my 'City Of Big Shoulders' Friend Greg sedated?

"I saw them at Red Rocks a week ago, it was a great show."

Wait!! What!!!?
Not a single exclamation point?!!!?
I'd still be losing my mind!!!!!
;)
Ha! To be fair, it was 6:48 pm on a Friday and I was still at the office--I was more than a little tired.:)

But it was both a high-quality show and a great value! Amanda Shires and her band opened up, followed by Frank Turner (a fine singer/songwriter in his own right). Here's a shot from our seats before the start.

Big fan! I have seen them perform twice and both were great shows. I got to talk to his keyboard player for awhile... cool dude.
I also spoke to Jimbo after a show and he showed me his basses. One was an Ibanez hollowbody with flats and the other a reliced St Louis blues P model.
In fact he told me how elated he was that his 70's P bass was just found after it was stolen.

To those who don't know a few years ago their entire band trailer was stolen and they lost allot of vintage guitars and gear. Jimbo's P bass was the only guitar ever found. It showed up in a pawn shop and was traced by serial number to being his stolen bass.
He said the police had it in hold and he would get it when he got back home off tour. I have seen him with it since.
