you can hear him just fine on the mix i did with those isolated tracks from the game. although there is more grind on my mix since i ran it through a tamplate i had set up for my bands demos at the time.

Felt a little like I was listening to an early Disturbed album. It's a shame this album was mixed with next to no bass because Lars, James, and Kirk are pretty boring on their own
it wasnt next to no bass, it WAS no bass! the guitar hero (or whatever game it was) tracks are at the level of the proper mix, so if you set all the faders at 0 its mixed. you can mute the bass and hear absolutely no difference whatsoever!
It's mostly just Ulrich and Hetfield because Hammett was only allowed to record the guitar leads back then.
Wow Savage those tracks sound great! It's like discovering AJFA all over again, but better.
