Hello,
I've a Fender Jazz bass Am. Vintage 64 with Thomastik Inf. flats and it's a lovely sounding bass!... But... Just one thing. I've noticed that the E string has more output than the other ones. In fact it tends to fart/kind of overdrive when the tone is all the way closed. It has more "omph" around each note... The other strings while equally dark, are more rounded/well defined.
Is it a common thing with these basses?
Any advice?
