Any jazz style basses besides fender ? I know ibanez makes the Gsr370 and the sr series but im just looking around. Please dont mention some 1500 dollar bass hahaha

Lakland Skyline 44-60's are worth every penny. Used prices are decent from what I've seen. I'd take one over a US Fender Jazz.
Yeah, as said previously, G&L Tribute, Sire, Ibanez and Yamaha make some really nicely detailed jazz style basses that punch above their weight if you're looking for something nice that is a good value. Squier, too. But play it first because they are a great value but can be inconsistent.

I had a 55-60 (JO5 back then) that was absolutely amazing. The price of a used 44-60 or 55-60 is an absolute steal IMO.
If you are looking in the used market, you might want to look at Fernandez.

Bacchus makes some crazy good looking jazz basses. They have basses ranging from $400 to upwards of $1500. They even make headless ones. Or some with humbuckers.

By jazz bass do you just mean any bass guitar with two single coil passive pickups?

My no. 1 Jazz is a PRS Kestrel. It beat out my AM Pro Jazz at half the price. And I only bought it because I liked the birds... and the contoured neck through design and 22 frets.
Well, the fender is 1500, so no MIA fender Jazz I take it?
The G&L tribute line is the best value value out there.
IMO, Better quality than the MIM fender at a lower cost.

Kestrel. Its pretty dope. The g&l JB2 is also pretty dope. Don't have one to show you though. My church has an old lawsuit ibanez jazz thats probably the best sounding and playing standard J bass I've ever picked up. But, Good luck getting your hands on one of those in good condition.
