Hi All,
I purchased a MJT Jazz body drilled for an input jack, leaving me an extra hole in the control plate. I thought I would do VVTT, but after a bit of research I decided on VVT with parallel series using a 2 way toggle in the open hole.
I am using DiMarzio Model J pickups and plan to use the recommended 500k volume pots, 250k tone with .033 cap. I thought the 2 way toggle would make it easier to switch out the 500k volume pots to 250k's if I found the 500k's to bright, or if I change out the pups that would be best with 250k volume pots.
I purchased a NOS DiMarzio 2 way mini toggle and found a TB post from 2017 with a nice wiring diagram for using a 2 way toggle instead of push/pull pot.
From what I can tell it looks like the neck volume will be active in series. I would like the bridge volume to be active in series. I also need advice on the orientation of the toggle switch. I would like it up for series and down for parallel.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks! Jxff
