Hey guys, i just got myself an impact bass by the esh company, ant it came with two soapbars with gold colored writing "kent armstrong" on them, ive researched here a little and found out that some are made overseas, some in the us and some in europe, anyone know any way to recognize mine?

Anyone? Can post pics if it helps

I like the Kent Armstrong VPB vintage Precision PU. I use my bass equipped with the KA VPB when I need to come close to an upright tone. I don't know or care where it was made. It produces a tone with lots of authority but never sounds loud if you know what I mean.

The Korean made ones usually have a different sticker on the back that say “Kent Armstrong by Sky Pickups” or something like that. Sky pickups is the company that makes them in Korea. US made ones usually say “handwound” or “made in USA” or something like that on the sticker on back. The European ones are made by Aaron Armstrong, Kent’s son.
