Keyword alerts

Could the information about the new keyword alerts function by stickied in this forum please? It would give members something more permanent to refer to than the pop-up window in which it was just announced.

Very cool. BTW, just a few days ago I had an exchange with one of the admins to request this feature (and apparently I wasn't the only member to make such a request). Nice to see that the TalkBass team is right on top of things.

Ok, I'm getting alerts now. Anyone know if there's a way to get them as an Alert (top right corner) instead of as an email? I don't like the emails so much.

Email only. It's really the only way to do this. The potential volume of alerts would overload the alerts system - not to mention your screen if you have common keywords.

Another suggestion for the future, since we have your ear... ability to search titles only.

(I'm laughing as I type this because I manage a software product line for a big company and I'm usually on the receiving end of product suggestions. Feels good to submit one or two for once haha).

The existing keyword function will do fundamentally that for any new threads.......from there just subscribe.

Anyone else not getting any kind of alert from Keywords? I've noticed that a few threads / posts were made with keywords and I didn't get a notice.

I've been getting them. I have a few set up as "immediately" and others as "daily". They go to my email. Have you checked your SPAM folder?

I can't seem to get TB out of my spam folder, driving me nuts... thanks. So we don't get an alert on the console up top like we do for messages?
