Simply looking for any thoughts on these two manufacturer’s precision pickups. (Especially the ‘59 and CC.) Klein ‘59, Klein ‘62, Novak PB-V or Novak PB-CC. Looking to assemble an aggressive and biting 70’s style ash/maple rounds p bass. Aggressive finger style with some pick use and some slap. I’m contemplating an overwound Lollar P and maybe a DiMarzio Model P right now too, but not looking for comment on those two. Those pups are fairly well known. Looking for a mostly even spectrum across the pickup. Fairly aggressive and contained lows, present to ever so slightly scooped mids and a slightly subdued high end.
