i got a v strings lakland 55-02 . This Basses in my opinion sound very boomy specifically the E and B string. I have a low action setup as recommended by lakland (.008). My G string height is set to 4/64 increasing up on the rest of the strings up to get to 5/64 on the B string. The pickup height setup that I got now is bridge side mm 7/64 and the j pickup 9/64. Now, on the bass side the mm pickup is set to 11/64 and the j to 12/64. This setup is the one that I feel that works the best in terms of string balance and sound. However, am wondering how you guys have yours setups ? Can you guys share measurements? Ah , also I did put down a little on the trim pot inside the cavity to try to help with the output.

1/4 inch on bass side. Little less on treble side for the j. 3/16 on the mm pup. My attack is pretty heavy.
How did you get that deep with your bass side ? That is 16/64 if I’m not wrong. Did you need the excavate into your bass ? And the 3/16 is
