Last night I played in two bands for the 4th of July. It wasn't a big showing, only a couple hundred people, but it sure was fun.

Commuting to the gig took 5 minutes in my Impreza. The sound and lights were provided and all I needed to bring was my bass. So, @BassCliff here's my 3 minute commute to the gig!

View from the stage, looking towards the guitar player's side. Singer was middle and I was stage right. Playing an old Gallien Krueger 115 combo nearly cranked was heavenly. It provided great stage volume and the FOH was full enough I could feel the bass in my shoes..... You could see a beautiful harbor shot in the back...

Hi @alaskaleftybass,

This is pretty outstanding! I love gigs that are close and I don't have to bring any gear. It looks like you had a happy Independence Day celebration. Nice party. Thanks for sharing it with us. Pretty dang cool. :)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Thank you sir! I appreciate all your excellent sojourns and you inspired me to share! :)

Hi Will (May I call you "Will"?),

Thank you sir! I appreciate all your excellent sojourns and you inspired me to share! :)

That is a nice harbor behind the stage. It's on my bucket list for Mrs. BassCliff and I to take an Alaskan cruise. I'll give you a shout-out when it happens. ;)
