I wanted to share my latest build. It's a road worn precision neck, Warmoth body finished and slightly relic'd by a guy on eBay. BadAss II bridge from the '70s, and Seymour Duncan SBP-1 and SJB-1 pickups. The control cavity is tiny, so I ended up just doing a volume for each. Not sure I like it that way, so I may go to a push-pull. I had two gigs yesterday and used it for both. I like the sound, but it needs dialing in, as it was 'growlier' all the time, moreso that I want. The guy routed out portions under the pickguard, and so even with both pickups, it's pretty dang light. Overall, I'm really happy with it. He gave me a black pickguard, too, but I don't like it as much. Trying to decide on a guard, and will likely end up with tort.

Well, thanks for looking!

Nice work! I usually don't go for white-on-white, but for some reason, it really works there. Maybe it's the mild bit of contrast with the pickups and control plate.

What kind of wiring were you originally gunning for, Vol./Vol./Tone?

Thanks! I saw some videos from my gig Saturday night, and in low light it really shows up! Yeah, vol/vol/tone. I had an idea yesterday: since he'd routed underneath most of the pickguard, I could drill a hole from the control cavity to the pickguard cavity, and put a control up towards the lower horn. We'll see, but it's an idea.
