Light weight gold tuners for squier?

I second hipshot but you need to measure the diameter of the tuning machine hole to make sure you buy the correct size tuners. Hipshots are not cheap though.
Yeah i saw they are not cheap. Ill probly have my local luthier do the measuring. ive heard good things about gotoh tuners but not sure if theyll make the bass look weird lol the hipshots seem like a safe bet in all honesty

Gotoh is good but if you want the classic vibe and you have to use hipshot or one of the Amazon clones. Clones are probably ok, never tried them, but I would rather use a brand like Gotoh, Hipshot, or Schaller on a bass I really like. What kind of bridge are you rocking? The Gotoh 201 is a simple better than stock replacement with the same bolt pattern. I went high mass bridge on mine and starting to think it’s a bit overkill.

Anybody have a recommendation for some lightweight gold tuners for a squier p bass? Looking for something that's an exact drop in replacement.
Not sure if they’d fit but if you can measure the diameter of the holes and the distance between them (ideally from the centre of each) I’d be happy to sell you the gold tuners from my Charvel. They were taken off about a week after I bought the bass… I replaced them with black mini clovers from Hipshot.

I'll try to have the Luthier take the measurements. What numbers should I be looking for?
