If this is the wrong section to post this then please let me know. I spent awhile looking through the forum for a section that covers this sort of question and ended up here.
I'm trying to find a good tech to setup two of my bass guitars. Looking through yelp provides just the local music stores which there aren't many of.
I'm located in Riverside, CA and would love to find a solid tech. I know I can do the setup my self and already have some of the tools but though I am very handy and mechanically inclined; I do not have the experience and I'd like to get them setup by someone that really knows what they are doing. I can learn to do it myself later.
So any recommendations for my area?
I have reached out to a couple of people and one guy wants $65 per bass while the other wants $185 each. The more expensive guy seems to have a name in the industry so I assume that is why he wants so much but I could be wrong. The fairly priced guy doesn't have any online reviews or anything so it is hard to know if he's good or not.
Both bass guitars are fairly new as I am a beginner but even I can tell that they need a proper adjustment to make them more playable.
Thanks!
