Presently I'm running a Hartke LH500 with two Hartke Hydrive 112's. Very versatile, I can use one or both when needed. I like them very much. The band bought on-board a loud drummer, no problem. Now we have bought on-board a lead guitar with a Line 6 amp with 4x12's that plays extremely loud. Before all of this happened I was looking to downsize from the 12's to a one premium 15 cab at 4ohms that can give me the max from the amp I already have and have the low end of a 15 tone plus have one bass cab with wheels to haul. I was looking at a Fender Bassman Pro 115 but it's rated at 8 ohms. The Hartke's have a 4/8 ohms switch which is nice. I don't plan at my age to haul two 15in cabs. Maybe I should keep what I have and be satisfied. Problem is, like many of you, we are never really satisfied. ;) Any suggestions?

If it were me, I would keep the 12’s for flexibility. A good 15 inch cab will most likely be a pretty large box. Also two 12’s will more than likely move more air.

This.

Plus, a 4 ohm cab is not louder than an 8 ohm cab. If anything, I'd upgrade the amp and keep your cabs. Something like a Mesa D800 would be much more powerful and waaay easier to move around. That would also allow you to add a 3rd (or even a 4th) 112 for sheer volume.
