Looking For Some Solemn/“Mystcal” Sounding Christmas Recordings

I grew up with the Johnny Mathis “Merry Christmas” album, and there’s several songs on it where the choir and orchestra really make the songs have an atmospheric mystical sort of sound (not sure how else to put it). I’m sure most of you have heard his version of “What Child Is This” but if you haven’t this is what I mean- the choir alters its part at the beginning of each verse and it’s a very cool take on the song.


Just looking for suggestions on more recordings in this vein- individual songs are fine as there are no Christmas albums I know of that don’t have at least a few painfully upbeat Christmas songs on them
