Looking for wiring diagram/help

I have a custom PJ bass which I would like the following controls, basically a CIJ Jaguar Bass without the preamp;
  • Precision Neck Pickup Volume (250k Pot)
  • Jazz Bridge Pickup Volume (250k Pot)
  • Master Tone (250k Pot, 0.1uF cap)
  • Neck Pickup On/Off (DPDT Switch)
  • Bridge Pickup On/Off (DPDT Switch)
  • Parallel/Series (DPDT Switch)
If anyones interested in the pickups, I’m using the Fender Yosemite PJ’s.

Use this diagram:
Series/parallel switch on active jazz?

  • Neck Pickup On/Off (DPDT Switch)
  • Bridge Pickup On/Off (DPDT Switch)
Then install a switch (for each pickup) between the pickup HOT and the GROUND.
When you short a pickup hot to ground it will be off.

I've seen that wiring diagram come up alot over the years. Not much goin' on last night, so I drew up a schematic for it for anyone passing thru. Yeah, I gotta get a life LOL.:

Sorry I'm not much help on giving you the On/Off for each pickup. I'm assuming you want that function when in Series or Parallel.

There are folk in here really good at figuring this stuff out. Hopefully someone will chime in.

This is brilliant mate, thank you

Would I be correct in assuming that if you were doing this with a 4 conductor wire pickup plus ground like a pbass pickup or a WRHB that the diagram would ostensibly be the same? Just minus one pot, and 6 would go to 3?

Just to make sure I'm on the same page.

Single pickup with two coils to one tone control and one volume. Pickup's coils to be selectable between series and parallel?

The pickup magnet and coil configuration is like this except it is a 4 lead wire. Creamery makes the pickup. I can send a pic.
This'll give you series/parallel of the two coils that make up the humbucker/WHRB. Along with Master Tone and Master Volume. Schematic shown in Series.

Two wires from one coil, two from the other (4 total). 5th conductor (ground/shield) would be connected to system ground along with the '-' of Coil 1.

Hope this is what you're looking for.
