Love that Bass

I have read many posts concerning stepping down to a lesser bass (lower priced). Why, I purchased a bass in pieces in 1964 and played it since. I have made many, but the bottom line is, I love that original bass. Yes I know I am in my 70's, yes it is difficult to move any bass, but the fact still remains, I love that bass so WHY step down to a lesser bass. Enjoy what you like because if you are like me you will be happier with the one that is your favorite.
