Low Profile Power Supply Options (Pedaltrain Nano)

Hi fellow low-enders!

I am looking to assemble a small pedalboard of essentials on something like a Pedaltrain Nano. What are you guys using and what would you recommend as a low profile power supply underneath?

Requirements: Must power 5 pedals and at least one does not play well with the others, so it would have to be isolated. The pedals would be a relatively low current draw (comp, chorus, octave, mini tuner and timer/clock - maybe a dirt pedal on occasion).

I like the idea of the Volto as it would be an easier setup not having to plug it in. Do you have to unplug the pedals not to drain its power when not in use? Do any of you have experience with it?

Post pictures if you've got 'em!

My board is a Nano+ powered by Volto it has an on/off switch, just turn it OFF after using it and no battery drain. Never a glitch with mine been using it live for several years

This Nano+ board is powered by a Cioks DC5, fits under the board. Plenty of power, voltage options on each isolated output, totally silent in operation.. yes, I like it!

I will add yet an Aguilar DB 925 preamp/buffer to the board, it will be first in the signal chain. I calculated the total current draw of the pedals now on the board plus the DB 925, it is 248,5 mA which is nowhere near the limit, the Cioks DC5 can supply up to 900 mA.

I use a cioks dc5 for my pedaltrain mini. I’m pretty sure cioks designed the dc5 specifically to fit the nano and mini pedaltrains.

I normally just use 4 pedals. Cioks does or did make another one that will also fit that only has 4 outs And is a little less expensive (Adom or Atom or something like that) But the 5th output is nice to have because I use it at home to power my tc ditto and I want to say the less expensive one won’t power my shure wireless if I remember right. The dc5 300 out powers it just fine. It’ll even run 12v if you have an old OC-2 or something

I ended up going with a True Tone CS6. I already have experience with some of their other products such as the OneSpot and CS12 and they have worked well for me. Plus, it was cheaper than the Sytrmon Zuma R300, which also looks nice. But there could be a possibility of getting 6 pedals on there eventually too, so I didn't want to be stuck if that ends up being the case.
