TANK-B-企业官网

Ran across this today on Aliexpress. Looks like a supercharged version of the Valeton Dapper Bass.

I can’t find any demos online, although the guitar version has a release video which gives an idea of its major features:

Compressor, preamp, modulation, delay/reverb, tuner, IR cab sim. Looks like it works as a USB interface. They seem proud of the lights and sure, why not. 9 presets and has a built in rechargeable battery.

For the price, I don’t think it’s going to be amazing, but I had a Dapper for a while and it was pretty handy and sounded fine live. This ticks a lot more “handy” boxes, honestly.

It’s MUCH bigger than the Chocolate. Sounds ok-ish. I think the Dapper Bass is a better fly rig. The octave sounds great on the dapper. The Tank B, not so much. Maybe with a firmware update they can improve a few things. For the moment, I’d suggest avoiding it. Fortunately, it was cheap.

Thanks for taking the plunge! I’d say it’s disappointing, but it’s hard to set expectations terribly high on a $60 multi effects pedal.

In a similar size the Sonicake Boom Ave is really good. I’d liked the look of the Dapper but the Sonicake was smaller and had everything I wanted in a fly rig (and I’ll be fine using a clip on tuner)

I'm thinking of picking one of these up... Can anyone advise if you can use it while it is charging or if the charging cable has to be unplugged to operate it? I'm notorious for forgetting to charge things, so I'd want the option of being able to plug it in while playing.

No problem! Plug and unplug it like you would do with your phone, so also while you are using it.

hi there! does anyone find any am2 files for bass version of this unit? all i found are for tank-g.

wanna check if i can swap stomp hx in my pedalboard for tank b for running totally cordless.
I got a lot of them, I will pack them in a zip file and make them available tonight.

I got some Ampegs, Aguilar, Markbass, Peavey, GK, Ashdown, and Darkglass profiles. All work very well and if you don't like the EQ points you can modify them with the Ann app, save them with a new name, and load them.

Here's a link to the ones I have so far, you can download them all or whatever you want.

BTW I recommend you download the latest version of the M-EFCS app, that one lets you load the profiles right from your computer or phone without having to use the profile manager.

I hope you find something you can use.

Enjoy.
thanks a lot! i tried to make some presets myself from my hx stomp, but it works not so great. new presets are too quiet and has the same sound with different hx stomp setups. still trying.

I just pulled the trigger on one of these off Amazon. I’m disposing of a lot of my stuff in prep for an int’l move. This’ll be an interim , if not longer term alternative to my somewhat overflowing pedalboard
