The Flying V is my favorite Treble guitar shape, and I have a bass too.

Wilshire/Coronet and SG are next favorite treble shapes.

Still can't find a case for my V bass....

Aw, V’s are fine, not my jam, but those, Explorers and Modernes were Gibson’s overcompensating comback at Fender for stealing their market. However the 50’s aesthetic just wasn’t ready for those designs. Then they smoothed it all out to the Firebird and Thunderbird, which I think were sleek and slick. SG’s as well.
