One of my favorite cabinets developed a buzz and I isolated it to one speaker. After removing the speaker I can get the buzz to go away by holding the spider (I believe that is the correct term for the webbing below the cone that forces sound to move outward) down with two thumbs. It seems the glue holding in place is no longer sound and I can gently lift it from its base. Curious if anyone knows what adhesive might work best to try and fix this? And I've read horror stories about trying to get Markbass cab repairs done. Anyone have experience? Seems absurd to buy a new speaker for this issue - no cracks, connections solid etc. It is just a hard place to reach! Many thanks.
