2 Questions about these three bass heads:

1. Of the three bass heads listed, only these three; Markbass Blackline 250 or Fender Rumble 200 or Ashdown Rootmaster Mag 220, which one would you Pick and Why?

2. Which one of the three would give you more of a different sound/tone then the GK MB200 (love the MB200 but just want something different every now and then)?

Rumble 200 head + 115 cab or Rumble 200/150 combo = Sweet Warm bass tone .

Have no experience with Markbass head, but been try the CMD121 combo, she sound beautiful ..... but i can buy 2 1/3 units Rumble 200 combo with it price.

My bass player buddy is sounding really good with the Fender Rumble 500. Very easy to transport and supports a second cab. For my personal use, I went with a MB Blackline 250 head. I already had a 210 cab. The power is almost more than I can use at home, so I don't think I'll miss the extra watts of the Rumble. I like the tone just as much as the Rumble. Also, he never uses the Drive portion of the Rumble, while I find uses for the VLE, VPF knobs. Mine was also partly based on availability and price. For power and light weight, hard to beat the Rumble 500 combo. If you already have cabs you like, the MB Blackline 250 head has great tone, less power, a little less money. Oh, and the MB has pre/post choice for DI while Rumble does not.
