Markbass Compressore - Confusion on the models...

Hi all!

And I just checked the classifieds and every single compressore that's been sold is different from the one I have. I read here somewhere that there was a different kind of prototype but they never sold it. So actually there is two models out there? The one that I got must be more rare since I havent seen them? I bought the compressor from a local music store here in Finland. My guess is the pedal had been sitting in the shelf for a long time. What's your take on this?

As odd as it may seem, I think the one you have/the picture in the link is actually the newer version. They did something similar with the Super Synth. In both cases it's my understanding that the changes were all cosmetic.

Ah, alright. Had no clue about that. They said at the music store that the Compressore I bought had been there for a long time so that's why that didn't even cross my mind. It's weird that they changed it though. The old one looks more practical and rugged since they knobs are kinda "protected". Anyway I'm happy with this one aswell Thanks for the fast reply!

That is the newer version. The specs are identical to the original version.

I am wondering if the new one is smaller than the old one. I love my Compressore but smaller would be appreciated.

IIRC the outer dimensions are the same - just a less expensive enclosure and on the original the knobs were recessed so you wouldn't knock them out of adjustment with your foot.
