Markbass QC sticker - "It's a Markbass thing"

I just bought a Markbass 104HR second hand from a guy for a really decent price. It was in great shape, and the guy obviously took really good care of his stuff.

While I was looking at it, I mentioned that he obviously must have taken good care of the amp, as the QC sticker was still on it. He replied with something that sort of stuck with me when he said 'It's a Markbass thing". Do a lot of people leave the QC stickers on their Markbass cabinets? I'd never seen a Markbass cab in real life, so this is the first time I'd ever seen this. It sounds fantastic though.

Is this the bass world equivalent of "It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand."?

Hahaha Honestly, I'm not sure what the answer to this is because I had no response to it when he said it either. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, more a questions of so most people keep the stickers on their Markbass cabs?

Gotcha. Honestly, the reason it crossed my mind now was I saw someone post a picture of the rig they've gigged with for years, and they had a Markbass 104HF, and it still had the sticker on it as well. It made me think of that statement and made me think there might be something to it. Thanks for the replies.
