Marshall 4150 Bass Combo Amp?

Anyone have any experience with a 4150? I have an opportunity to get one cheap and replace some cosmetic wear. I know next to nothing about Marshall bass amps. I can't find any helpful info online so figured I'd check with this group! Thanks in Advance!

I've only used Marshall bass amps. ....1..when I had an old all tube Super Bass 100w amp. ..was nice but limited
Once or twice I've used a solid state combo - probably back in the 90's. ... I think it/they were "Bass state" series amps... they were ok. ..did the job at the time. I think they were made in UK and were pretty decent quality. .. and did what they were supposed to do.
I'd be wanting to get it very cheap as it most likely wouldn't be lightweight or easy to move.
If it was in good mechanical condition it'd probably be a solid unit.

This is an all-tube 100w combo. I wouldn't be gigging out with it much, but moving any amp or cab has never been a problem for me. I just can't find any technical info or specs. I've found them selling in auctions in the UK for as little as $375 and in better condition over $1,000.

Anyone else have info on Marshall Bass amps, specifically vintage?

I think these were Marshall's attempt at the 4x10 Bassman. It's open back and probably works much better as a guitar amp. The models to look out for are the JCM 800 Bass series. I've wanted a Marshall bass rig forever, but it's tough to come by. The Traynor YBA-3 will get you into Marshall territory.

Ahhh I see. Looks pretty much like a Super Bass with a 410 .... yeah open back would worry me enough to use it with a different cab.

The Super Bass I had. ..same 4 EL34 power tubes and looks to be same amount of pre tubes... .... was a fun amp. Limited in tones bit did that crunchy warm Marshall valve tone nicely. With a 610 or similar cab it was loud enough for the rock band I was in at the time. With a bit of crunch going on.
Nice warm valvey sound. . Especially thru a nice sealed cab. ..
