Marshall 7200 safe to PA no cab?

I have a solid state Marshall 7200 (tube pre). Can this be used going into a PA using the DI from the amp but with no cab conected to the amp? Is it safe or will this damage the amp?

Solid state amps can be used without a load, no problem here.
