I've been a TB member for a while now, but I just can't seem to figure out how to navigate to certain areas in this forum. For instance, a recent post of mine was moved to a more appropriate place, the "T-40 Club." From the home page, how do I get to the T-40 Club? And most of my basses are G&Ls. I've read that there's a G&L Club or forum, but I can't find it. I've found no info in the FAQ or Help areas about this. Maybe I'm thick...OK, yes, I'm thick...but it frustrates me. I know it's just something simple I'm overlooking. There's info to be had here, but I'm not getting to it...Jim

Use the search function at the top of the page. Once you find the thread that you are looking for, you could select "Watch Thread" at the top of the thread. This will make it easy for you to find the thread, as well as get alerts whenever someone posts in the thread.

Yes, I have a G&L Fullerton SB-2 and Kiloton. They're my go-to basses for sure, just unbelievable tone and playability. I used to have a Tribute L2000 and L2500, but I sold those to cut down on my inventory. After all, you can only play one at a time, right? However, I recently bought a Tribute JB-2 on a great B-stock deal, then took the Peavey T-40 as payment for some work I did, so I'm back where I started as far as numbers go. I'll try to take some pics and post them...Jim

I'm still confused by this "club" thing. If I type 'T-40 Club' into the search engine, I get a list of threads that contain the words 'T-40 Club' or just 'T-40'. That doesn't narrow it down very much. Yet I see some guys shown as "So and so. T-40 Club # __." Can "joining" a club help me find or share advice more quickly, and if so, how do I join? Sorry if I'm wasting y'all's time. This forum seems much more complicated than others I belong to, so I'm just trying to learn to navigate it better. There seems to be a wealth of knowledge here that I'd like to tap into, and I even have some to share having played bass for 50 years...Jim

The search engine here is kind of clunky. I went outside to Google and typed "Talkbass T-40 club" and got the previous club thread, which was closed. The last post in that closed thread leads to this one, which is still open. If you have a T-40 you can join and you can talk with other owners about various things related to that bass. That's pretty much all the clubs are.
