I don't know where to begin with this marvelous gizmo. The adjective “unlimited possibilities” would be a start. Just fooling around with the 99 Presets is a nice introduction. I’m not nearly qualified nor prepared at this time to offer a comprehensive review of the myriad potential of the algorithms under the hood of this thing, but right out of the box, the controls are intuitive enough that my luddite caveman brain was able to navigate and select enough of the EQ bank(s) to affect a number of the Presets to my liking. Although pricey @$600, i can’t think of anything that comes close to what the pedal does, or can do. To call it a Reverb Effect doesn’t do it justice. I imagine most players would view reverb as an effect most suited to guitar, but the ambience offered here struck me as a fretless player to be quite pleasant. This thing is extraordinary. The online Pdf is exhaustive, but not necessarily foreboding. A lot of thought went into making this an intuitive tool. Highly recommended.

So I can take first in line when the honeymoon's over :D ?

The reverbs in my Mercury 7 are superb. The X does that and so much more, I've seen in demos.
It’s extraordinary. Clean, running it through a Capo in the Effects Loop, it surpassed my lofty expectations for a $600 pedal. Ive had and sold the Jam Delay Llama, which was ok, but limited, i have a Resound which is an unfair comparison and the Nimbus, which i was very happy with. My Meris was offered @10% off with Sweetwater and it arrived looking as if it had never been out of the box. It carries Sweetwater’s two year warranty, and it simply blows every other reverb effect ive used out of the water. In addition to offering an insane number of presets, you can EQ the presets to your heart’s content.

I was thinking of getting the Boss RE202 recently. But then remembered this bad boy. I think I'll be saving my duckets for the Merc X. Thing sounds simply amazing. I think I'd like the LVX as well but one step at a time haha
