I play some rock, but mostly new country because it gets me paid.
I have a Mesa m9, and I’m looking at buying a couple subway 1x15 cabs. I’m really not sure if this rig is even appropriate for my usual gigs. Should I rethink my entire setup? Or could this rig work in any musical situation.
My basses are a Fodera Emperor standard 5, and a lakland 55-14

If you're in a country band that is hip enough to not bug you about a P bass you'll be fine.

As far as will it work? Of course. It should sound fantastic in either situation. There's pretty much no difference between modern country and rock from a bass tone standpoint anyway.

I have played modern country with all kinds of rigs. Provided backline for a lot of those shows was an SVT and a fridge.
