My favorite band. I just love everything about them. Can't wait!
The show was superb! They played a lot of new music. We treated two friends to tickets in exchange for an overnight stay at their place in the bay area and I worried a bit that they wouldn't enjoy it, since this music is not everyone's cuppa. But they said they enjoyed it and had a good time. It's fun listening to non-musicians trying to describe their reactions to odd time signatures. "It's not really toe-tapping music."
Michael was, of course, superb, and the show gave many of the people on the stage a chance to shine individually. SF Jazz is a terrific venue and we've been fortunate to see a few shows there. Hardly a bad seat in the house.

LOL pretty much. Who's on stage with them at any given moment depends on who isn't working elsewhere, I guess.
