Hey guys! I just ordered my Microtubes 900 and ive read around but cant really find a good answer to my question:

Using the microtubes 900, i have two 400w OBC115s, totalling to 800w. What Ohm setting should i be putting the head in so i dont blow my cabs out?

Thanks!

You got 2 8ohm cabs wired in parallel so that will half the impedance. So on the amp keep it set to 4ohms. And the wrong impedance setting wouldn't blow up your cabs, and considering its a solid state power amp it doesn't really damage your amp either. To make sure to not blow your cabs, just don't crank your amp all the way up, although just going 50 watts per cab over wouldn't do much unless its sustained, say if you get feedback.
