Mid-90s Ibanez SR. 506 replacement preamp and pickup question....

Hello all.
Apologies if this has been covered before. I did a search it couldn't find anything quickly. I have an Ibanez SR506 from the mid-90s. I can't tell exactly what year but I've seen other models from 1995 through 97 that look identical. It has all stock electronics. Wanting to replace the preamp with a tone monster and their website states that they work best with passive pickups. I'm pretty sure the ADX stock pickups on this bass are active and I'm wondering if this is going to pose a problem with the tone monster preamp?
I have seen a video on YouTube where someone with an identical bass upgraded it with the tone monster and EMG pickups which are active.

The S/N will tell you.

It shouldn't, but did you ask the preamp manufacturer?

This makes me even more sure it shouldn't be an issue...

I'd be surprised if anyone has done the exact mod you're proposing, so I can only offer generic advice.
