Might Acoustic 360 Preamp & Bruce Cab 2x15 Work Together?

So a few months ago I purchased a Bruce B8215 combo bass amp, where the power amp is built into the speaker cabinet and the pre-amp is separate (there is a post here on Talkbass about this purchase), which is the same setup as the Acoustic 360/361.

Now someone near me has a 1970s Acoustic 360 pre-amp for sale. What are the chances that I could just unplug the Bruce pre-amp, plug in the Acoustic 360 pre-amp and I'm suddenly gig-ready?

The Bruce cabinet has 2x15 speakers and the Acoustic cabinet (which I don't have) is 1x18. I'm not certain of the ohms or wattages involved.

Any advice will be appreciated and maybe even considered!

It should work just fine however just know its not gonna sound like the 360/361 rig. The 360 preamp is not unlike most SS preamps out there these day, nothing to write home about IMO. "That Tone" is the combination of the 360 pre with the folded 1x18 361 cab, that cab has a lot more to do with that sound than you'd think

Edit:
All I'm saying is don't spend too much on that 360 pre amp thinking its gonna sound like a 360/361 rig. It won't, its gonna sound like a good SS preamp through 2x15s
