Mighty Mite Flat or Curved Nut?

Gonna pick up a new Mighty Mite fretless p-bass neck when I get paid, but want to improve it just a bit with by leveling the fingerboard with a sanding block to make sure it's nice and flat, and a new nut to replace the cheapo one they come with, just wondering if anyone knows whether the nut slot is flat or curved? Thanks.

IIRC it's a flat bottom, but @Turnaround's suggestion to contact mighty mite is sound/wise. also, mine was purchased over a decade ago (12-15 years?) and there could have been any number of changes to those necks over the years.

re: the "cheapo" nut: you might want to consider making all of your setup adjustments with the nut provided, first, and then consider whether a new nut is needed. if you opt for a new nut = you'll have some experience with a fretless nut and you'll have a pre-worked model to help you work the new one! my two cents.

at any rate: good luck with your maple/ebonol fretless neck --- they're awesome!

Thank you for your reply, and yeah regarding just setting up with the nut on there, that's a great idea, I think I'll go ahead on that, and I'm super excited to have my first "real" non-homemade fretless, and my first unlined too!
