I don't play my MIM Fender Jazz bass much because I am partial to my Fender Musicmaster. It seems as though the fretboard on my jazz bass is dry and the strings feel kind of funny. Maybe "moist" or something (I know people hate the word moist). Maybe a little uneven as well? The bass has always had a wonky neck and wonky truss rod, but I like the tones I can get out of it.
What happened? It's a TKL hard case from at least 10 years ago and it feels like it's "better quality" than my other hard case. And how can I best fix this?
