I believe I've seen (i.e. Nordstrand diagram) the series/parallel wiring with one DPDT switch selecting the dual coils in series or parallel or one coil.

Does anyone know a practical way to include the choice of coil (front or rear) with an alternate switch/pot, etc.

Yeah, I get it that when one coil is selected, series/parallel becomes irrelevant.

If it's out there, my Google/DuckDuckGo skills are failing me. ;)

Are you looking for wiring for ALL options? North/south/series/parallel? Or just some thing like North/Parallel/South?

See this switch wiring table:

Note that the color legend does not match to any particular pickup wiring color codes - it is strictly for the table.

I also use this diagram for ALL options, using two 1P2T switches (labeled ABC, DEF in the diagram)

Yes, the former (ALL options).

Can I assume 'A' (in the ALL options diagram) is North Start for my dual coil pickup?

Understood. Wire color is non-standard and I was ignoring wire color in your last image.

A better question is "can I assume that the wire marked "+" leading from the "A" coil is the north start, and the "A" coil is my front (neck side) coil"?'

Thanks.
