Hello and sorry if this has been asked and answered before, I tried searching but nothing was really like my problem.
So I have this Music Man SUB USA (one of those older ones, don't remember the exact year) which I bought used. It has significant fret buzz only on the 10th fret of the A string, and to clarify it's NOT that recognizable "stingray buzz". I have tried raising strings to the point where the action was uncomfortably high and the buzz went away almost completely, but I mainly play slap and I couldn't play with my action that high. What could be the cause of the buzz?
The buzz was there when I bought the bass, but it wasn't quite as bad as now when I changed the strings. Currently it has a set of R.Cocco Stainless Steel 045-105s.
I hope someone would know a solution for this as I don't live close to any guitar techs.
