Musicmomad F One Oil on Finish

[Could Be Better]

Hello,

I was treating my fretboard with F One oil and while it was drying on the fretboard, I decided to clean the body with Dunlap guitar polish. I think I accidentally used the same side of the cloth that I cleaned the fretboard with. Now there is a waxy almost oxidized film on my bass. Anyway to get this off? Any help is much appreciated!

The bass is a 1981 Gibson RD Artist. I’m assuming nitro finish?

The F-One oil is a fantastic product to condition your fretboard! In fact, I strongly recommend their guitar polish as well!
