My 1975 P-Bass with EMG and Chromes

Hi there!
Some of you wanted to see my 75 P-Bass in detail.
So, here you go:
It´s a 1975 Precision Bass, equipped with an EMG GZR and strung with old D´Addario Chromes.
The bass has been played through my EBS Classis Session 30 combo and my MarkBass LittleMarcus 1000 (both DI out, into my USB interface).
All tracks have been mixed to recreate real life situations (mixes), so you can hear, how the bass sits in the mix.
PLEASE, use headphones or HQ speakers.
Thx a lot for watching and commenting.

Ha, ha! I thought it might be! ...especially since you and I both have that "75" in our usernames!

You're very welcome, Mik!

Yeah, you're right, well observed. ;-)
Covid really brought everything down. I hopey next year will be a step back to normal life.
Keep safe and healthy.

Hope all is well for you and yours over there in Germany!

Until next time, take care my brother!

~G.

P.S. -- I've been putting a P-Bass together and have been going back and forth about what pickups to put in... but, I have to say that your video is definitely making me take a second look at those Geezer Butler pups!

Thanks AGAIN!!!

~G.
I love this pickup. For me, it's a perfect match, if you're into well defined and super dynamic mids!

Cool Precision, killin' tone and great playing Mik!

Near the end though when you switched amps, a ton of character went missing for me.

Thx so much, brother. Yeah, the EBS stuff is really great. I usually use my MicroBass II and MultiComp for recording.
But the small EBS Classic Session 30 definitely has the same great sound signature as the MicroBass.
I'll do a review of the MarkBass anytime soon as well, probably even as the next video. It does sound great as well, especially with the Jazz Basses.
All the best.

She's lovely. This thread is really not helping my GAS. I've been all about that Jazz most of my time playing, and while I *love* P's, I haven't got to sit down and get to play one. You are all convincing me that damn it, I *must*
