My classified ad isn't showing a thumbnail in the forum list view

Hi, I just posted a classified ad, and when I see it in the forum list view, there's no thumbnail image. My understanding was that it would take the thumbnail from the first image in the post.

It's the "GK MB112 (first version)" post in the "For Sale: Amps, Preamps, and Cabinets" forum.

Any advice?

Brady,

It would appear that the [ gallery ] tags you used don't work with the thumbnail software. I changed your first image to use [ img ] tags, and that worked.

Just so you're aware Paul, ads that don't contain an image in the first post to be used as a thumbnail no show a question mark rather than the user's avatar as it used to do.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to include a thumbnail on my listing. Also, I had changed my avatar but the old one wouldn't go away, so I just ended up getting rid of the avatar entirely. I'm normally not so tech-dumb....any help?

The only options under Thread Tools at the top of the post are Edit Title, Who Replied, and Edit Custom Fields, neither of which has a field for thumbnail URL. If I go to Edit at the bottom of the post, there is also no option/editable field for thumbnail URL, even when I click 'More Options' after the initial basic edit page opens.

If you can’t get the thumbnail to appear after deleting and reuploading your images using the Upload A File button, a moderator can manually add the thumbnail for you. Just let us know which pic you want for it.

Thanks, Bryan. I tried deleting all of them and reuploading, still never had an option to set a thumbnail image once the initial post was posted. If one of you could, please use the first image as a thumbnail for the post/ad. Appreciate all of the help.
