My new (shoegaze) record just came out

My new solo record, The Work, came out yesterday on Deus Marginalia Records via Bandcamp. It's mainly instrumental and leans heavy into shoegaze and post rock territory. Here's the bandcamp link:

Very good, I’ve only listened to ‘Are We Fast Enough?’ so far (through crappy phone speaker) but I’m looking forward to hearing all of it through headphones later. I really like the way the guitar parts emerge from the mix rather than jump out. I know getting that spacey, layered sound takes more discipline in writing and mixing than people give it credit for, it can easily come out as a mush but your track has really nice definition to it. Thanks for posting it here, keep up the good work!

They're both very enjoyable. They remind me of the late 80's/early 90's golden age of shoegaze, but with a lot of modern feel and emotion. One thing I like are the key/synth (or whatever instrument is responsible) layers that sort of set the landscape. You achieved a good sense of depth, which I like.

You might find yourself writing movie and TV soundtracks some day.

Love this! It's got some big, pretty, lush textures on it, but doesn't get bogged down too much in overly-slow tempos... this is great work!
