Are those floor tiles 8" x 8"?

I have to confess, most of the stuff down there is my son's. The bass stuff is mine.

That was my first thought as well. I've come across some that weren't asbestos a couple of times recently. Sucks paying for the testing, but a lot less than the fines for improper disposal.
As long as you don't pull them up, you are fine. (Or you can actually just put another tile floor right on top of them...
Nice space . Great gear! Just Chuck some carpet over those tiles and let them next owners worry about it.

The other side of the basement is the "family room". Flat screen TV, exercise equipment, comfy convertible couch, etc.
My new favorite bass. Bought it off CL a couple months ago for $120. Put a TV Jones Thunderblade pickup in it and a set of precision flats and it just rocks my socks off. Neck is perfect, anchor thumb on p'up and pluck between p'up and bridge and get a nice, tight THUMP. Anchor thumb on the end of the neck and pluck between p'up and neck and get a HUGE, BOOMING thump. I've got two pretty high-end 5 strings but I just love the way this sounds and plays.
