Mystery Buzz!

Hello to all.
I bought a used Squire Jazz 70 recently and i did a full setup(Neck relief, nut action, bridge action ( i set action around 5/64 for all my Basses) and intonation...) but it has a weird buzzing problem.
This is the whole story: (sorry, English isn't my first language)
When i was playing 5th (only 5th) fret on A string i got fret buzz so i thought maybe the neck is too much straight, i added some more relief by loosening the truss rod but it didn't go away, then i checked the 6th fret height and i found it's a little higher than its neighbors so i leveled it but the problem is still there. I asked my brother to listen closely to the fretboard to find the buzzing spot and it's the 7th fret. Now i'm completely confused because the 7th fret is completely level with 6th and 8th fret. Now I'm getting fret buzz while playing the 5th fret and 6th fret. I had to add another 1/64 to the action to reduce the buzz for now.
(The fret buzz is only happening if i want a sustained long note and it's not there at first.)
The strings are unknown roundwounds 80% fresh but maybe old (just not played). Is it possible it's because of a old string? I don't have any more idea...
Any advice will be appreciated.

Without seeing the situation first hand I would suggest doing some research on neck shimming. A shim is simple, cheap and effective for certain situations....possibly your situation.

Also, your English is great man!!

Good Luck!
Shim? It doesn't sound like he's bottoming out his saddles. Only shim when your saddles are at their lowest point, but the action is still too high for your liking.
If everything is adjusted according to fender guidelines and you're not getting the playability you want, maybe you need to have all the frets leveled and recrowned. I would take it to a tech.

Yea, maybe. I’m only suggesting he look into a shim(out at the end of neck cavity)to get a bit more forward angle overall in the neck.

Yes I agree, actually i shimmed the other bass because of the saddles were in lowest position but The action was still high.
Now my question is do you think an unnecessary shimming can make a buzz problem? I bought this bass used and i know nothing about its history.
To me it sounds like your frets are not leveled. You bought the bass used, so we don't know how the it was treated before. Also even on a new bass guitar, they need fret work if you want low action. I bought a brand new wormoth neck and had it leveled. I have my strings a little above 1mm with a little less neck relief than fender advises.

That's the confusion, I checked the frets from 5th to 12th fret but all them are level to their neighbors.

5/64" isn't exactly a high action, I'd say you need to level/dress/recrown your frets if you want it lower (or even that low a lot of times) without buzzing. The lower the action you want, the better your fretwork needs to be. Shouldn't be expensive at a shop, and it's not difficult if you have the tools.

Sorry. I got nuthin'.

If it’s only one string it could be the string. Doesn’t sound like your frets, take off the string and inspect it for any slight kinks along the length.
Reinstall and make sure it’s not twisted.

How did you check them? Do you have a fret rocker?
Yes I checked them with a fret rocker.

Good idea, Thanks, for now i'm going to ignore it and play with 3/32 action. Actually it's comfortable so who cares...
