N(used)BD!!! Couldn't be happier.

I've always wanted a chance to play a Sadowsky bass but you (I at least) just never see them around here and spending that much on a blind order just isn't my thing. Saturday A beautiful 2005 Metro RV5 popped up for sale locally at a very reasonable price. I went to the gentleman's house and even though it was in dire need of a set up everything was in great working order and I immediately fell in love with it. I brought it home and gave it the set up it required and man oh man what a bass! This thing feels like a natural extension, like it was always there. I never really bought into the "hype" before, after all it's just another J bass right? Boy was I wrong!

It’s hard to be subjective when you have a new toy. Your new bass looks very nice and I’m sure it plays well too.

I’ve played one before and I’d still choose my 2011 fender Amst jazz v. In my case it was a one in a thousand find. It’s what I judge all jazz style five strings too.

I’m not knocking your Sadowsky at all, they are very well made and pretty basses. You did good

:)

Nice! The one in the profile pic I take it? I love when I find a good fit. I found a Squier VM '77 that I can set up lower than my Am. Del J and after putting in a set of EMG JVX's it's an absolute monster!

Edit: The obligatory "pic or it didn't happen"

Yes that’s the one, and you are correct. And if your new bass fits you that way then congrats! It’s awesome when you find “that” bass. I bought mine new and never modded a single thing, which is odd for me. But it’s perfect the way it is!
