NAD: ValveTrain Brandywine - my "FrankenB15"

The Frankenstein reference is actually quite fitting. My P-bass had been seeming kind of lifeless through my home practice rig, but as soon as I plugged it in to this thing, it was "alive... ALIVE!!!" :hyper:
I am hoping this will work out as my new workhorse for small rooms and wineries. 50 watts ought to be more than enough to get me shushed in these settings, and the weight & form is just perfect. (Unlike the vintage tube heads I've had!)
This head freaking loves the old Bag End S-15D. The new Bergantino, maybe not as much. It seems to work best with the tweeter turned all the way down. I hope they will become friends, as the Berg is quite a bit more practical.

I also have a tiny, inefficient old Acme Low B-1 that may work out on Jazz gigs. (Not an ideal choice for a low wattage tube head, but the Acme does nicely harness this amp's monster treble.)
Can't wait to try this out on some gigs!! (Unfortunately, I'm going to have to - at least until next month...)
