This may be a keeper. She thumps! Gotta clean up the fretboard, little deoxit on the controls and a setup/strings and it’s gonna be wicked!

Love the vintage Ibby Roadstars!

I have an RB760 and an RB950 Roadstar.

These are lightweight basses with awesome tonal capabilities. I’m sure you’ll love it!

Nice! I have a pair of 81 Ibanez artists... those knobs are hard to find, you’d probably be able to sell them if you wanted for $200 back! (Not saying you should do that...) My first artist has had one wrong knob since I bought it in 96 and I once looked for a replacement... Now I just figure it’s been wrong longer than it was right so I’ll just leave it be...

I think we can assume these shots were taken pre-set up. those string are running at some pretty weird angles.

His was an early Musician with three band eq, big plastic pickups that looked like Alembic (but weren't) and neck thru. He played it the night I did FOH for him. It was missing the back plate, and held together with duct tape.

The intonation is actually pretty good. Not perfect but only out a tiny bit at the 12th fret. Need a setup and new strings but it actually plays good like this with pretty low action and no frets buzzing unless I really dig in. The frets are filthy and the whole
Neck needs a good cleaning but considering I bought it online without trying it I’m pretty pumped!
