Today I decided to accompany my younger sister to Guitar Center. She has been learning on an acoustic and was looking to try out a few electrics.
Meanwhile, I snuck away to the bass department and found this gorgeous Sterling SUB Ray.
I already have one at home and love everything from the feel to the sound. Due to my recent forays into the heavier subgenres, I figured this bass would be perfect for downtuning the price was right.
So I brought it home with me. The sales rep at GC even threw in a set of heavy gage strings. And I was right it sounds absolutely vicious in BEAD even with the stock strings.
