Birthday Present to myself (really just an excuse...I still would have bought if my birthday was 3 months ago)

This arrived last Moday and I turned 61 this past Saturday.
This thing is in great shape. Has a good growl with the bass and mids boosted and the highs at detent.

[edit] Just noticed the S/N starting with CT.
That means it is made at the Cor-Tek factory in Indonesia.

It's an interpretation of John Entwistle's 'Fender Bird' which is a take on Gibson's Thunderbird. So they call it a 'hybrid' with the blessing of John Entwistle's estate.

That’s a good question since the controls are accessible under the control plate in the back of the bass.

Originally he had a Fender neck put on a Gibson body.
