Got my G5440LS Electromatic Hollow Body Long-Scale Bass and it is like nothing I have ever played before. Cannot wait to hit the stage with it.

I've got one of these- Mine's a slightly older one with the little fret inlays on the side and different pickups. I wish it were easier to tame feedback, because with flats and a muff it makes some incredible vintagey doom tones. Currently it gets use if I want to look extra fly at the open mic (bonus is how light it is) and for sofa noodling.

Never take off all the strings when you re-string it. You will swear.

If you can tame it, it is ultra-cool looking. Careful with those rounds and brighter strings.
