Copy/pasta: "BACCHUS HANDMADE series "WOODLINE" The performance model of "Passive Base" "WL4DX - ASH / M" pursuing cost performance without change in appearance · looks appeared Limited model. Burner treatment is applied to the body's ash wood, and the powerful appearance that the grain of Ash stands out is impressive one more. We have a lineup of 8 colors to make use of that grain, you can choose your favorite color. The slim and easy-to-hold body shape gives a fearless impression coupled with the block position of the fingerboard and the pearl binding. Ash body's wide range sound is not a genre, it is a straight sound with good handling for players. By pulling up the tone knob, "Turbo switch" is turned ON, making a thick sound as a pseudo humbucking PU is also possible by connecting two single PU series."

I'm glad I finally read the description; I had no idea about the tone knob "turbo" switch. I'll try it and update this tomorrow.

So the turbo pull-pot is interesting, and a first for me. If you pull it up it defeats the bridge pickup volume knob and assigns both pups to the neck pup knob. If the neck pup is turned off, the bass just mutes. Kinda odd. Very comfortable bass but quite neck divey. I've yet to use a strap with it as I don't have any currently that aren't fitted with straplocks but I'm looking forward to trying that. Sounds great through my new bass rig o'doom:

Sounds like a series switch. It combines both pickups in a series configuration so they act like one humbucking pup.

Yep. If I understand correctly, the bridge pickup volume pot is defeated because in series mode it would be in the whole circuit, influencing the tone by just being there and also acting as a master volume just like the other one (=having both, either one turned to less than max would lower the output, with panning out of the question anyway), so it makes sense to exclude it when series is selected.

Knew what it was before I even saw the headstock.

...slim and easy-to-hold body shape gives a fearless impression, indeed!

Very nice looking bass! Nice to see something different for the finish. Really well done.
